Looking In

Should you want to meet the eldership and have a brief 30-minute introduction to The Bridge Church, please consider joining one of our “Looking In” sessions after church – we announce these sessions during Sunday services from time to time.

STEP 2

DNA Foundations Sessions

Running Twice A Year | Starting 19 August 2026

Our DNA foundations sessions are presented twice a year and runs over a 9-week period. During these sessions, we share the heart, vision and values of The Bridge Church, along with biblical teaching on what healthy local church life looks like.

We believe it’s important for every member of our church family to understand the calling and mandate of the church, and to discover their place of service according to the unique gifting and grace God has given each believer. When members clearly understand and commit to walking alongside the leadership, our elders are better able to lead, care for, and take responsibility for the church community.

Active membership is far more life-giving and rewarding than simply attending church, and this journey is explored further during our Looking In sessions mentioned above.

STEP 3

Join A Life Group

In the early church, believers gathered in homes and shared their faith daily, rather than limiting their fellowship to Sundays. Life groups in The Bridge Church are led by delegated leaders as an extension of the elders’ ministry, and are not independent Christian ministries. By joining a life group on a day and in an area convenient for you, you’ll have the opportunity to be discipled, cared for, and to form meaningful friendships that strengthen your faith and allow you to experience the reality of Christian life together with other believers. We encourage every member of The Bridge Church to join a life group.

Beginning Your Journey with Jesus

I Want To Follow Jesus

The decision to follow Jesus Christ is certainly the most important decision any person could make. If you have heard the message of Jesus and if you believe in your heart that He is the Lord and Son of God who died and was raised from the dead, confess it. Put your trust in Him and invite Him to take over the reins of your life. Then, find a believer and share your faith with him/her, and the Bible promises that you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

I Want To Get Baptized

Water baptism by immersion is a sacrament taught in Scripture and serves as a powerful public declaration of faith in Jesus as personal Saviour. While some parents choose infant baptism as a way of dedicating their children to God, the Bible emphasizes baptism for those old enough to personally commit themselves to Him. Through baptism, a believer proclaims their faith in Christ, identifying with His death by immersion and rising from the water to new life in Him (Romans 6:3–4).
